VELITAE (veh-LEE-tie)
From the Velites — the skirmishers of the Roman legion.
The lightest, fastest, most autonomous soldiers in Roman military structure.
They operated ahead of the main formation, in loose and distributed groups,
without rigid lines or centralized command.
When one fell, the formation did not break. It reformed.
When conditions changed, they did not wait for orders. They responded.
That is the operating principle behind everything we build.

Every node in the fleet runs its own mission logic. There is no single point of failure, no central brain that, if lost, stops everything. The system is designed to keep operating when parts of it are gone.
