Applications

Where the fleet operates.

Defense and ISR. Border and maritime control. Rapid first response. Three domains, one property in common: the mission matters more than any single vehicle — and the operator must stay in command of both.

Application 01

Defense
& ISR

Area surveillance
Comms-degraded environments
Multi-vehicle operations

Coordinated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance for environments that fight back. Missions execute onboard each vehicle — cut the ground link and the fleet keeps working. Lose a vehicle and the remainder re-form and continue. One operator directs the formation at mission level, and drops to direct control of any single vehicle when the situation demands it.

Capabilities

C-01 Persistent ISR through coordinated, multi-vehicle coverage patterns.
C-02 Onboard execution — no continuous ground link required once the mission is delivered.
C-03 Continuity under loss — election-based role reassignment in seconds, without operator intervention.
C-04 Live video and telemetry to the operator at sub-500 ms latency.
C-05 Post-mission forensics — coordination events logged per vehicle, reviewable after the flight.
Application 02

Border &
Maritime Control

Long corridors and coastlines
Recurring patrols
Small crews

A border section or a stretch of coast is a coverage problem measured in kilometers and hours — more than any single vehicle or crew. VELITAE turns the patrol into a mission object: authored once, scheduled to recur, flown by a coordinated fleet, watched by one operator. When something warrants a closer look, the operator takes the feed — or simply tells the assistant where to send a vehicle.

Capabilities

C-01 Multi-vehicle patrol coverage along authored corridors and formations.
C-02 Scheduled, recurring missions — authored once, flown on cadence.
C-03 Live video from any vehicle on the line, sub-500 ms to the operator's screen.
C-04 Continuity under loss — the patrol continues when a vehicle drops out.
C-05 Override anywhere on the line — pause, reposition, or take manual control of any vehicle.
Application 03

Rapid First
Response

Minutes matter
Any responder can operate
Eyes on scene first

When the call comes in, the bottleneck is not the aircraft — it is the time it takes a trained human to plan, brief, and fly. VELITAE removes it twice. The assistant turns a described situation into a dispatched mission in the time it takes to say it. On scene, any responder can fly: the software holds the aircraft while the operator points the camera at what matters.

Capabilities

R-01 Mission from a sentence — describe the scene, in any language; the assistant builds the mission and dispatches on your confirmation.
R-02 Autonomous launch and transit — hands-free from pad to scene.
R-03 Direct control on scene — joystick or keyboard over live video, behind a 643 ms dead-man stop.
R-04 Live video to command — sub-500 ms from the vehicle's camera to the decision-maker's screen.
R-05 Five-minute onboarding — a new operator is mission-capable before the coffee is cold.
